The burning sensation should fade within a few days of regular use, as Substance P is exhausted in the treated area. Remember, don't expect results in a day or two. It takes time for the capsaicin to build up and reduce Substance P in the painful area. In a week or two, you'll feel relief. And this relief should continue as long as you continue to use Zostrix regularly and consistently.
